Justyna is is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). By adopting a compassionate and empowering approach, she strives to work alongside her clients, fostering a sense of agency and actively involving them in the therapeutic process.

"For a child or an adult, it's extremely powerful to hear someone say, “I get you. I understand. I see why you feel this way.” This kind of empathy disarms us..”   - Dr. Daniel Siegel

What Justyna Offers

Justyna incorporates a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help clients develop coping skills and adaptive thinking strategies for life's challenges and stressors. She also integrates Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Mindfulness, and Attachment-based interventions.

Justyna's focus is on empowering her clients to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their emotions, and their relationships. Her work is grounded in a trauma-informed, strengths-based philosophy and a belief in the resilience of individuals.

Work Experience

Justyna brings a wealth of experience from both community mental health and private practice settings, where she has supported children, young adults, and families experiencing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. Justyna worked as a child and family therapist at Yorktown Family Services for 5 years.  In this role, she provided evidence-based practices to a diverse population of youth and families.  She has since brought her passion for supporting families into private practice, where she continues to adapt treatment to the unique needs of each family.
